Senior Java Developer - Delpath (Brossard)

Software Engineer Location: Hybrid – 44 King St. 9th Floor, Toronto. Contract Duration: 6 months. Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE.

Number of Positions: 1. Schedule Hours: 9am‑5pm Monday‑Friday, standard 37.5 hrs/week. Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills Strong complex problem‑solving skills. 10+ years of full‑stack development experience (Java, NodeJS, SQL, NoSQL). 5+ years of cloud and containerized development experience. 5+ years of Agile and SDLC experience.

Cloud solution deployment experience (GCP, Azure). Docker containers. Kubernetes.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills Active Directory / Entra ID integrations focusing on SSO. Experience with application security tools (Checkmarx, Snyk, Wiz). AI agentic experience (MCPs, Agents, Skills, RAG).

Best vs. Average Candidate Someone who can work independently with stakeholders to implement solutions from design, constantly able to update design – crucial: taking initiative, strong problem solver, strategic thinker, and can identify solutions; experience with cloud‑native protection tools. Best candidates will have used the tools themselves and understand how they work, robust independent developer, with programming and automation expertise.

Candidate Review & Selection 2–3 rounds – MS Teams video interviews – all panels. 1st: 30 minutes – initial interview with hiring manager, possibly team lead, to assess skills against the candidate’s CV. 2nd: 45 minutes – panel of project team members (HM, technical resources) – probing on technical expertise and project experience.
