They oversee hydraulic modeling, select efficient technologies, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior staff to deliver sustainable water management solutions. Core Responsibilities System Design & Engineering: Create detailed layout plans, topographic assessments, and hydraulic calculations of irrigation systems including farm irrigation systems.

Technology Selection: Evaluate soil types, climate data, and crop requirements to determine the most efficient irrigation methods (drip, sprinkler, or micro-irrigation). Project Management: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), manage project budgets, and oversee the procurement of equipment. Multidisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with agronomists, civil engineers, and environmental specialists.
