Job Description

The Senior Investment Analyst will play a vital role in driving the growth of Pulse Clean Energy. Reporting to the Director, Commercial & Strategy, this role will focus on evaluating, structuring, and executing investment opportunities to support the expansion of our portfolio. Responsibilities: Develop robust financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, including key metrics like IRR, NPV, and project payback periods.

Support due diligence efforts; analysing commercial, technical, legal, and financial documents to assess risks and opportunities. Assist in structuring and executing investment agreements, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Prepare high-quality investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics. Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, and other key partners. Proactively identify, develop, and recommend investment and commercial opportunities for Pulse.

Assist in negotiations on financing, equity investments, and off-take agreements. Support internal business operations by maintain deal pipeline, coordinating across teams, and ensuring key investment inputs and reporting is kept accurate and up to date What you need to succeed: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field At least 3 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, private equity, consulting, or renewable energy development with prior deal experience. Expertise in financial modeling and analysis including leveraging AI tools Strong understanding of the energy sector, particularly renewable energy policies and storage technologies.

High attention to detail Excellent communication and presentation skills A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
