TEKsystems Global Services is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to join a Platform Engineering team responsible for building and scaling enterprise integration capabilities.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the development of a strategic GraphQL platform while building reusable integration services that enable engineering teams across the organization. The role combines hands-on engineering, architecture, and developer enablement, with a strong focus on driving adoption of platform capabilities rather than delivering traditional point-to-point integrations.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and evolve enterprise integration and API platform capabilities.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of GraphQL solutions at scale.
• Develop event-driven architectures using Kafka and modern streaming technologies.
• Build GraphQL and REST APIs consumed across multiple engineering domains.
• Define integration standards, governance, and best practices.
• Create reusable platform services that improve developer productivity.
• Support and mentor engineering teams adopting integration capabilities.
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence within Azure.

Required Skills

GraphQL (Essential)

• Strong experience designing and implementing GraphQL solutions in enterprise environments.
• Expertise in schema design, federation, governance, and API architecture.
• Experience driving GraphQL adoption across multiple engineering teams.

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Integration Engineering, or Backend Engineering.

• Deep understanding of Kafka and streaming technologies.
• Strong Azure platform expertise.
• Experience establishing engineering standards and driving technology adoption.
• Proven ability to build developer-facing platform capabilities at scale.
