Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in line with internal policies and external reporting requirements.
Supporting the preparation of statutory and group financial statements.
Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
Analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and providing insights to support business decisions.
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
Cooperating with internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and explanations.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Controlling, Tax, and Finance.
Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and quality.
Supporting the implementation of new financial reporting tools, systems, or regulatory requirements.
Mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge and best practices when needed. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in audit (most welcomed BIG4) or financial reporting
Strong knowledge of IFRS; knowledge of local GAAP is an advantage.
Experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is an advantage.
Experience working in a shared services (SSC/BPO) or international environment is preferred.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to optimize financial processes.
Occasional travel may be required (approximately 5–10%), mainly for workshops, or key meetings
English at B2/C1 level or higher (written and spoken).
