About this role Reporting to the Manager, Finance Operations, this role will mainly be responsible for leading restaurant and courier partner statement processes by overseeing direct reports and facilitating various partner promotions, garnishments, and other related transactions.

Part of this role will be involved in supporting our Operations and Strategic Initiatives team, managing/forecasting spend and supporting ad‑hoc requests for data and operational support. This role will work with external and internal stakeholders to solve issues as they arise, and perform month‑end closing activities. Location Hybrid – 3 days a week from our Winnipeg office & 2 days working from home Key responsibilities Financial Analysis & Growth: Analyze the key drivers of growth and profitability at Skip, understanding their interaction with Partner KPIs.

Partner Statement Management: Oversee the weekly restaurant statement cycle, including processing, statement adjustments, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in reporting under strict deadlines. Month‑End & Compliance: Provide support for month‑end closing activities, including reviewing journal entries and contributing to financial performance input. Process Automation & Improvement: Review and improve process performance, proactively identifying and driving opportunities for efficiency by testing outcomes and managing support tickets.

Strategic Projects: Participate in and lead projects focused on efficiency, automation, strategic alignment, and supporting the launch of new business verticals. Qualifications CPA designation with 3‑5 years of proven operational experience. Logical analytical problem solver that is able to spot trends and indicate the key drivers behind it.

Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets. Experience with SQL and/or data analysis tools (Tableau/PowerBI) is an asset. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with other departments.

Highly adaptable and passionate for process optimization and internal controls. Understanding of risk and impact of proposed process/policy changes and proposed campaigns. Experience in Workday Financial is an asset.
