Senior Financial Accountant (Multinational) - Qualified Accountant (2-5 Years PQE)

Barden have been engaged to recruit a Qualified Accountant (2-5 years PQE), to join the finance team of a Multinational as a Senior Financial Accountant on a 12 month FTC role.

Based in Dublin City Centre, hybrid working, two days a week in the office.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process - journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting of monthly results in line with US GAAP.
• Maintain strong internal controls in line with corporate standards and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements, partnering with internal and external auditors.
• Manage inventory accounting end-to-end: manufacturing and contract manufacturing costs, intercompany/Buy-Sell eliminations, variance analysis, cycle counts and reserves for excess and obsolescence.
• Support the annual standard cost-setting process

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Professional Accounting Qualification (2-5 years PQE).
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to inspire confidence.
