Senior Finance Analyst (Reporting & FP&A)

This is a high-visibility role where your work directly supports business decisions — not just reporting. The Opportunity As we expand globally, we’re looking to hire a commercially minded Accountant in India, who enjoys both financial analysis and hands-on execution. This is not a pure reporting role — you’ll own the numbers, build models from scratch, and help explain what’s driving business performance.

This role is best suited to someone who wants to grow into a Senior Finance role over time, while being comfortable operating in a lean environment. What You’ll Do Monthly Reporting & Close Own the monthly close process and reporting calendar Deliver management reports, budget vs actuals, and cash flow insights Financial Modelling & Forecasting Build and maintain financial models from scratch (forecasting, scenario planning, KPI tracking) Support budgeting and rolling forecasts SaaS Metrics & Insights Track and analyse key SaaS metrics (MRR, NRR, churn, CAC where relevant) Translate data into clear insights for Finance Manager and CEO Team Coordination (Light Oversight) Coordinate and review work across internal Junior and external bookkeeper Ensure AP, AR, and reconciliations run smoothly Hands-on Finance Operations Contribute to day-to-day finance operations as needed in a lean team Board & Leadership Support Assist with quarterly Board reporting and ad hoc analysis What We’re Looking For 4–7 years’ experience with exposure to monthly reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and financial modelling Strong Excel skills — able to build models from scratch (not templates) Commercial mindset — able to explain the “why” behind numbers Comfortable working in a hands-on, lean environment Strong organisation and ability to manage recurring deadlines Clear and confident written English (remote communication with Sydney team) Availability for partial overlap with AEST mornings Nice to have: SaaS experience or familiarity with SaaS metrics Xero / Futrli / Power BI CA / CMA / ACCA Why Join Resonate CX Direct exposure to CEO and leadership decision-making Build financial models that are actually used in the business Strong pathway toward a Senior Finance role Hands-on experience in a growing SaaS company Real ownership — not just a reporting role Success in This Role Looks Like Monthly reports delivered accurately and on time without supervision Financial models actively used for planning and decision-making Clear, actionable insights provided to leadership Smooth coordination across finance operations Get a Feel of Our Team and Culture https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmbYu49dclQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Jnc4zagsc0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsldquduZDs
