Job Description

Senior Events Manager Senior Events Manager – adviser focused events, responsible for strategy, planning and end‑to‑end delivery of events that support commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and own the adviser events strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives. Plan and manage an annual schedule of events, including technical and regulatory webinars, best‑practice sessions and face‑to‑face adviser roadshows.

Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of all events, from concept and content development to live delivery and post‑event follow‑up. Act as the primary owner and subject‑matter expert for event platforms and suppliers, including BrightTALK and Cvent. Work closely with Distribution and Technical to shape relevant adviser‑centric content, and with Compliance and Risk to ensure regulatory and governance compliance.

Manage external suppliers, venues, and production partners, ensuring high‑quality delivery and value for money. Own the events budget, forecast costs and manage spend effectively. Define and track success measures for events, using data and adviser feedback to continuously improve content, format, and performance.

Provide clear reporting and insight to stakeholders on engagement, outcomes, and learnings. Candidate Requirements Significant experience delivering events within financial services, ideally in platform settings. Proven experience delivering both webinars and face‑to‑face events at scale.

Proficient in event technology with hands‑on experience of using BrightTALK and Cvent. Experience using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud desirable. Strong project management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders. A collaborative, proactive, and highly organised approach. Good understanding of the UK financial adviser market and the requirements of a regulated environment.
