Job Description
PFB Job Description Required Technical Skill: Strong knowledge of Apache Cassandra and related tools (including DataStax products). Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and SQL. Experience with automation tools and scripting for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Cluster Management: Configure, maintain, and monitor Cassandra clusters to ensure high availability and reliability. Performance Optimization: Analyze data access patterns, identify bottlenecks, and tune clusters for optimal performance and scalability. Data Modeling & Query Design: Collaborate with developers to design efficient data models and queries.
Security & Backups: Implement security measures, manage access controls, encryption, replication, backup, and recovery strategies. Capacity Planning: Forecast storage and computing requirements based on growth and project goals. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly.
Automation: Automate routine tasks such as cluster provisioning and monitoring using scripting and automation tools. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent written and oral communication.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
