\nJoin Optus Enterprise as a Network Engineer within our GTAC Networks team, whereyou’llplay a critical role in delivering high-quality managed network services for enterprise customers across Australia.You’llbe responsible forresolving complex network incidents,implementingand managing changes, and supporting enterprise, datacentre, and wireless environments using technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed.
\nThis role suits an experienced engineer who thrives in an operational ITIL-based environment, enjoys problem-solving at scale, and is passionate about customer outcomes, automation, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents across enterprise, datacentre, and wireless environments, ensuring SLAs are met.
\nImplement and manage network changes, upgrades, and patching in line with ITILchangeand problem management processes.
\nConfigure, support, andmaintainnetwork infrastructure using technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed.
\nCollaborate with customers, service management, and internal delivery teams, providing clear communication and technical guidance.
\nIdentifyopportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, scripting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
What makes you perfect for the role?\nStrong hands‑on experience supporting and operating complex enterprise networks, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve high‑impact incidents.
\nTechnical capability across routing, switching, datacentre, and wireless technologies, ideally including Cisco, Aruba, and Riverbed.
\nProven experience working in an ITIL-driven managed services environment, with end‑to‑end ownership of incidents, problems, and changes.
\nClear and professional communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and stakeholders during critical or high‑pressure situations.
\nA continuous improvement mindset,demonstratedthrough automation, scripting, strong documentation, and staying current with emerging network technologies.
