Job Description: Responsible for all release activities Tape out request -> DBR -> Maskshop -> Fab (Includes all DRAM design centers) Collaborate with Design/Process Engineer/Fab teams to understand priorities/timelines. Prepare Layer mapping using Micron internal web-based tools. Create base and mask stream files and ensure quality. Rank and prioritize individual reticles to meet Project/Fab timelines. Tape out Methodology: Review tape out related issues and come up with flow improvements to prevent reoccurrence. A flow improvement could be an individual contribution such as coding a new tool or it could be a collaborative effort with CAD and make changes to tape out flow Design Guideline Checklist management (update or create new DGCs) Revisions for Legacy products: Should be able to support delta layout revisions (typically for Products running at Fab) An ideal candidate should be interested in CAD and Layout and should be familiar with DF2 and CAD tools. They need be able to operate independently to complete tape out related tasks.
They also need to be comfortable with collaborating with several different teams within Micron effectively to manage release timelines. Required Experience: B Tech/MTech with 4+ yrs relevant experience in layout with familiarity on tape out release process.
