Learn more at and on and. Job Summary: TheSr. Supervisor–FacilitiesOperationsis responsible foroverseeing the technical operations and maintenanceof facilityor portfolio of properties.
This role involves managing a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring theireffective performance and optimization of building systems, and coordinating ongoing maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of the facility. This personwill collaborate with various stakeholders, including property managers and service providers, to address technical issues andmaintaina high standard of building performance. Job Description Manage and oversee the technical operations and maintenance activities for the facility, including but not limited to HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, fire and life safety systems, and other building systems.
Lead and supervise a team of technicians and contractors responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities of building systems. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensureoptimalperformance. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, reduce repair costs, and ensure that all building equipment and systems function effectively and efficiently.
Identifyand resolve technical issues and emergencies related toelectromechanical systems promptly and efficiently. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address problems and ensurea timelyresolution. Assistin the development and management of the facility's maintenance budget.Write requests for proposals(RFP),monitorexpenses,obtain multiple bids,review contractor proposals,provide cost analysis,andwork with Procurementtooptimizecost-effectiveness of maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. Monitor and update technical documentation, including maintenance records, equipment manuals, and safety procedures. Coordinate and oversee technical projects, renovations, and upgrades within the facility.
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects to ensure successful execution andtimelycompletion of projects. Work with procurement toevaluate, select, and manage third-party service providers and vendors, ensuring they meet required standards, deliver quality services, andmaintainappropriate insuranceand certifications. Implement energyand waterconservation initiatives,monitorenergyconsumption, and water use, andidentifyopportunities for improving energy efficiencyand reducing water usewithin the facility.
Collaborate with property managers,builders,and other stakeholders to address technical concerns, communicate maintenance schedules, and ensure a positive and efficient service experience. Job Requirements: Bachelor'sdegree in engineeringwith10+years’ experienceofhandlingtechnical operationsin large and reputed global organizations, preferably IT/ITES companies. Proven experience in facility management, technical operations, ora related role.
Strong knowledge of building systems, includingbut not limited toHVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire and life safety systems. Solid understanding of maintenance principles, preventive maintenance programs, and asset management. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Highlyethical,strongleadershipand team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or facility management software.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards. Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision. ProficiencyinAutoCad,MS Office,smartsheets, etc.
