Senior Engineer -AWS Storage & Migration Specialist

Total Exp: 8Yrs Notice: Immediate to 30 days Senior Engineer – AWS Storage & Migration Specialist About the Role GrowthArc is hiring a Senior Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise storage and cloud migration . This role will focus on migrating on-prem file storage and SQL Server databases into AWS-native environments while ensuring scalability, reliability, and data integrity. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with NetApp storage solutions on AWS , specifically: Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO) Additionally, experience with Aurora/RDS migrations and ECS/EKS-based platforms is mandatory.

Key ResponsibilitiesStorage & Data Migration Lead migrations from NAS/NFS/SMB environments to AWS using FSx for NetApp ONTAP and Cloud Volumes ONTAP. Design migration, reconciliation, validation, rollback, and cutover strategies. Execute large-scale file migrations while preserving permissions, metadata, and data integrity.

Lead SQL Server migrations to Aurora PostgreSQL and Amazon RDS. Data Engineering & Platform Development Build AWS-based ETL/ELT pipelines and reporting workflows. Design data movement across storage platforms, databases, Kubernetes environments, and analytics systems.

Support analytics workloads using Aurora, Redshift, and Athena. Infrastructure & Reliability Work within Terraform-managed AWS environments. Build and support containerized workloads on ECS/EKS.

Implement monitoring, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and CI/CD automation. The candidate should be comfortable making architecture decisions, leading migration planning, and driving execution independently across storage, infrastructure, and data engineering teams.
