Senior Digital Design Engineer

Job Purpose A defense company based in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Digital Design Hardware Engineer to join its team. Job Title: Senior Digital Design Hardware Engineer Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Relocation Opportunity) Minimum Work Experience 10+ years of hands-on experience in the design of complex high-speed mixed-signal hardware. Key Activities Design and develop complex high-speed mixed-signal hardware using FPGA, DSP, Microprocessor, Microcontroller, and Transceiver technologies. Architect and implement hardware solutions involving high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen4, SERDES, SRIO, and JESD. Perform PCB schematic capture and layout in collaboration with layout engineers using CAD tools such as Mentor Graphics and Altium. Conduct power integrity and signal integrity simulations to ensure robust and reliable hardware designs. Lead and execute board bring-up activities, including debugging, hardware validation, and verification. Utilize boundary scan (JTAG) tools for testing, debug, and manufacturing support. Ensure hardware designs meet compliance and regulatory standards, including thermal, EMI, and EMC requirements.

Work independently as a self-contributing engineer, while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
