Position Overview We are recruiting for a temporary (Senior) Data Product Analyst role within the British Columbia Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) on a 12‑month contract. Candidates applying through this competition may be considered for two levels based on demonstrated strengths across business intelligence, data product development, and reporting/analytics delivery: Senior Data Product Analyst (L4) (salary band: $90,069 - $140,235) Data Product Analyst (L3) (salary band: $73,182 - $107,310) This role is central to advancing BCFSA’s data strategy and enabling high‑quality, reliable, and standardised data reporting and analytics across the organization. It will support and lead the consolidation of semantic models and front‑end logic into a centralized, governed data layer, ensuring consistency and a single source of truth across the organization.

The successful candidate will contribute to translating reporting and analytics needs into clear requirements and usable analytical products for the regulatory functions across the financial services sector we oversee. Our Data Product Analysts play a critical role in enabling evidence‑based decision‑making, strengthening regulatory insight, and supporting BCFSA’s mandate to protect consumers and promote a stable, transparent, and fair financial services marketplace.
