Senior Data Engineer (Washington)

Senior Data Engineer Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 – Subject to experience Remote – EST / CST Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Thank you. We operate at the intersection of complex legal services and modern data engineering.

Our teams build enterprise-scale data platforms that power critical legal, regulatory, and business decisions for global organisations. You’re a hands-on Senior Data Engineer with proven experience delivering a project through its full lifecycle from concept to completion. You'll have the confidence and credibility to talk with senior stakeholders as part of your day-to-day.

What You’ll Be Doing Own the full lifecycle of data engineering initiatives, from discovery, design, and deployment. Support is always available when you need it, but some autonomy will be expected. Utilising your knowledge of Azure Cloud Data Factory, Azure Databricks , and Microsoft Fabric notebooks, you’ll design and implement scalable data pipelines.

Design and activate effective solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks When necessary, support and guide colleagues with the dev of Power BI datasets, semantic models, and executive dashboards. A great communicator , you thrive in a cross-functional environment, supporting colleagues across legal ops, finance, and knowledge management to ensure data products directly support strategic and operational objectives. What We’re Looking For Extensive experience in data engineering (typically 7+ years), with proven client-facing delivery experience, ideally working in the legal or FS industry.

Practical application of Azure Cloud Data Factory, Azure Databricks , and Microsoft Fabric notebooks, Data Lake. Deep expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and enterprise data warehousing. Bonus for understanding of core legal data platforms, including time recording, billing, matter management, and document management systems.
