Senior Content Accounting Analyst, (Hiring Immediately)

Senior Content Accounting Analyst, 2989-1 We are seeking a Senior Content Accounting Analyst to support a content accounting team responsible for maintaining financial accuracy across content commitments, assets, liabilities, and expenses. This role will focus on ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while supporting increasing operational complexity as content investments scale. You will partner closely with cross-functional finance and content teams to analyze agreements, manage accounting processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Reporting Prepare and review monthly accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting metrics Support accounting for content-related assets, liabilities, and expenses including capitalization and amortization Perform ad hoc analyses to support business decisions and financial insights Contract & Transaction Analysis Manage accounting for content license contracts within internal systems Analyze content agreements and transactions, including licensing contracts and talent deals, to interpret terms and apply appropriate accounting treatment Research and apply accounting guidance to ensure accurate financial representation Process Improvement & Operations Identify and drive process improvements across accounting workflows and systems Contribute to accounting policy reviews and support implementation of new processes Assist in enhancing internal systems and tools supporting content accounting operations Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with teams across finance and content acquisition to ensure accurate reporting and alignment Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions Support a collaborative environment focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement Required Skills & Qualifications Professional Experience 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Technical & Analytical Skills Strong Excel skills including experience working with large datasets and complex models Experience performing reconciliations and financial analysis Ability to interpret contracts and apply technical accounting guidance Core Competencies High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications CPA certification or progress toward certification, or advanced degree in a related field Experience reviewing complex contracts or working with detailed financial agreements Experience in media, entertainment, or content-related accounting environments Pay Rate Range $100–140/hr.
