Job Description

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will support, enhance, and optimize enterprise applications across distributed and mainframe environments. This role focuses heavily on system updates related to marketing, branding, product changes, and customer communications. The analyst will gather requirements, document business needs, coordinate with technical teams, ensure cross-platform consistency, and support compliance with business and regulatory standards.

TPA experience is required. Key Responsibilities Document and translate business needs into functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Analyze existing business processes to identify improvement and standardization opportunities.

Collaborate with technical teams to implement system enhancements supporting branding, marketing, product updates, templates, workflows, and customer-facing assets. Ensure consistency of branding and messaging across all platforms and customer interaction points. Coordinate integration efforts across distributed applications, mainframe systems, legacy platforms, external services, and shared databases.

Work with architects and developers to ensure accurate data mappings, business rules, and workflows during updates. Partner with stakeholders in marketing, product, compliance, and operations to validate requirements and align expectations. Support QA processes by ensuring test plans reflect business requirements; assist with UAT and post-implementation validation.

Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, impact analysis, and user communication. Recommend improvements for system performance, workflows, and change/update processes. Lead initiatives that enhance enterprise application capabilities and support business change management.

Required Qualifications 7–10 years of experience as a senior IT or business systems analyst supporting complex enterprise applications. Strong background in business process analysis and enterprise application enhancements across distributed and mainframe technologies. Experience gathering requirements, leading strategy discussions, and producing detailed functional documentation.

Strong communication, negotiation, documentation, and planning skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships. Strong problem-solving abilities with high ownership and accountability.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Bachelor’s degree or higher. TPA experience.

Preferred Qualifications Experience leading large-scale enterprise system updates and multi-phase initiatives involving distributed and mainframe systems. Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and brand-governance standards related to customer communications and marketing materials. #J-18808-Ljbffr
