Description You are a dynamic, customer‑centric, tenacious marketer with a strong work ethic who enjoys building C‑suite and owner relationships, tailoring financial solutions and bringing in new clients. This role as a Business Development Executive (BDE) is for you. As an experienced BDE in the Mid‑Corporate Banking team, you will source and grow profitable relationships, champion a culture of innovation and a client‑advisory mindset, and deliver JPMorgan‑Chase's strategic guidance through a wide breadth of products and services. You will report to Regional Leadership and lead business development efforts for Mid‑Corporate Corporate and Investment Banking in the Northern CA and Northern NV region. The ideal candidate has a history of business development experience, a strong network in diversified and general industries in the region, and a demonstrated ability to market JPMorgan‑Chase’s capabilities with persistence and creativity. Job Responsibilities Partner closely with Banking, Credit, Treasury, and Service partners, as well as Asset Management and Investment Bank colleagues, to introduce prospects to our product capabilities Propel top‑line revenues while maximizing efficiency and mitigating risk; expected to generate numerous new clients on an annual basis Serve as a mentor and coach to the banking team and lead the region's prospecting activities, including deepening relationships with existing clients Measure success through marketing activities such as calling, proposal generation, revenue, risk mitigation, C‑suite connectivity, and building relationships with centers of influence Plan and host networking and content‑focused events with key centers of influence in the local market Travel regularly to client locations within Northern CA and Northern NV, maintaining a consistent office presence for collaboration and teamwork Operate independently while partnering well internally and externally, delivering high‑impact marketing activities and client acquisition Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills 10+ years of direct client management, lending, credit support, debt and equity capital markets, or similar industry related experience FINRA Series 63, 79 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required, or ability to obtain licenses within 180 days of hire Extensive knowledge of commercial and investment banking products and services Experience in cross‑selling products, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Strong business development skills, including tactical selling and negotiation Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and public speaking Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills Bachelor's degree, with graduate degree and/or CFA a plus Formal bank credit training is preferred Strong creative solution and problem‑solving skills Demonstrated ability to build successful relationships with centers of influence Financial sponsor experience contributes to a well‑rounded candidate Legal and Equal Opportunity This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
