Base pay range $75.00/hr - $80.00/hr Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner (Contract-to-Hire) Hybrid onsite (Downtown NYC, 3 days/week) We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with 8+ years of experience to support a growing client in NYC.

The ideal candidate will bring strong domain experience in the insurance industry, preferably Property & Casualty or Claims. Candidates with broader financial services experience will also be considered. Responsibilities Own and manage the product backlog, including writing and prioritizing user stories, acceptance criteria, and features Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and requirements Translate business needs into actionable requirements for Agile delivery teams Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and support UAT and release activities Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and delivery teams, ensuring alignment and timely decision‑making Requirements 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a hybrid BA/PO role Insurance industry experience (Property & Casualty or Claims strongly preferred; financial services considered) Prior experience supporting software implementations (from requirements through deployment) Strong data analysis skills, including experience working with large datasets, defining data requirements, and partnering with technical teams to ensure data quality and integrity Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with hands‑on backlog ownership Strong experience with Azure DevOps Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with senior business and technical stakeholders Additional Information Interview will take place onsite Hybrid onsite model: 3 days/week in downtown NYC Due to security requirements, only U.S.
