Senior Business Analyst

Location: Manchester Working pattern: 1 day per week in the office Clearance: BPSS We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a respected consultancy team delivering meaningful work for a major UK government department's working-age benefits service. You’ll be based in Manchester, working within a multidisciplinary digital team on complex payment processing improvements – leading analysis to understand business challenges, define practical solutions, and drive service enhancements in a demanding delivery environment. Recent (within the past 2 years) experience as a Business Analyst/Senior BA within UK central government Strong experience working in complex delivery environments supporting multidisciplinary digital teams Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex business problems into clear, deliverable requirements Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Comfortable working closely with developers, designers, delivery managers, and policy colleagues Able to build effective relationships across business, technical, and policy teams Right to work in the UK The role involves: Leading business analysis activities within complex projects and the theme team Building strong stakeholder relationships across business, technical, and policy teams Facilitating workshops and discussions to understand problems and gather requirements Analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement Defining user needs and managing business requirements Creating user stories and acceptance criteria to support development work Working closely with developers, designers, and delivery colleagues to ensure requirements are clear and deliverable Supporting prioritisation of work and identifying gaps in functionality or service design #J-18808-Ljbffr
