Job Description The Senior Business Analyst, Direct Investing, is a delivery role responsible for leading the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements for initiatives that directly impact TD Direct Investing’s WebBroker and Mobile applications. Operating at the intersection of business and technology, this role acts as a subject matter expert within the highly dynamic digital investing environment, ensuring solutions align with business strategy, customer experience goals, and TD’s risk appetite.

As a core member of cross‑functional delivery teams, the Senior Business Analyst bridges stakeholders across product, technology, operations, risk, and change management. They provide leadership across the full initiative lifecycle—from discovery and design through implementation and post‑launch support. Accountabilities Lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and management of business requirements to gain stakeholder alignment and consensus.

Own and maintain end‑to‑end traceability of business requirements throughout the initiative lifecycle. Define clear, testable acceptance criteria and support testing activities, including the development of test scripts, defect triage, and resolution. Identify and document dependencies, constraints, risks, and assumptions, ensuring clear communication between business and technology teams.

Act as the subject matter expert for Direct Investing initiatives, leveraging deep domain, product, and systems knowledge to drive business value. Analyze and document current‑state business processes and support stakeholders in designing future‑state solutions. Provide recommendations and direction grounded in end‑to‑end customer and employee experience considerations.

Ensure business process and system impacts are fully understood and reflected in requirements and acceptance criteria. Partner with Change Management teams to identify stakeholder impacts and support adoption, operational readiness, and transition planning. Ensure all work complies with applicable regulatory requirements, internal controls, delivery frameworks, and TD standards.

Apply strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills to assess business problems, solution options, and impacts in alignment with TD’s risk appetite. Proactively identify, document, and manage risks and issues, escalating to leadership as required to support timely delivery. Support implementation, post‑implementation activities, and continuous improvement efforts.

Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, timelines, and outcomes. Lead cross‑functional discussions, resolve conflicts, and manage stakeholder concerns with a focus on timely and effective resolution. Promote innovation by identifying opportunities for process, product, and delivery improvements.

Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment. Provide thought leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer within the team and broader business. Stay current on emerging industry trends, tools, and business analysis best practices.

Participate in performance management, professional development, and cross‑training opportunities. Job Requirements Undergraduate degree in business, technology, finance, or related discipline. 5–7+ years of business analysis or business systems analysis experience. Experience in Wealth Management and/or Direct Investing platforms is a strong asset.

Demonstrated knowledge of retail investing products and trading instruments is a strong asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust messages for different audiences and stakeholders. Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery environments, and adaptable to other delivery methodologies.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Proven ability to lead complex initiatives in highly regulated, and often ambiguous and dynamic environments. Experience with cross‑functional collaboration among stakeholders.
