Join our Fraud Change team as a Senior Business Analyst, where you’ll help safeguard society and enable safe growth through data and technology enabled services. You’ll shape the strategic change agenda by defining business requirements and supporting the development of solutions that reduce fraud losses and strengthen controls. To be successful as a Senior Business Analyst, you should have: Qualifications Previous experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on business process-driven design.
Extensive Economic Crime experience in Financial Services, leading multi-faceted requirements, driving cross-functional alignment, and delivering strategic change aligned to regulatory and control objectives. Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders. A recognised Business Analysis qualification.
Additional Highly Valued Skills Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Experience working with agile methodologies to deliver change effectively. You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in the role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in one of our Northampton, Knutsford, or Glasgow offices. Purpose of the Role To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. Accountabilities Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities. Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations. Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions. Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation. Vice President Expectations Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, policies; manage and maintain policies and processes; deliver continuous improvements and enforce policy compliance.
If managing a team, define jobs and responsibilities, plan for future needs, counsel performance, and participate in pay decisions. Lead specialists to influence operations and balance short‑ and long‑term goals. Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, supporting the control and governance agenda.
Demonstrate accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls related to your team’s work. Show comprehensive understanding of organisational functions to contribute to business goals. Collaborate with other areas of work to align support with business strategies.
Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought, comparing and selecting complex alternatives; perform in‑depth analysis to define problems and develop innovative solutions. Incorporate extensive research into problem‑solving processes. Build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.
