Job Description
Aleknagik Technology, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Senior Business Analyst to support Defense Health Agency (DHA) initiatives in a hybrid work environment based in Falls Church, VA. The ideal candidate will provide advanced analytical support, develop data‑driven insights using tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and collaborate with government stakeholders to improve business processes and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Analyze business processes, systems, and data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements from DHA stakeholders Translate business needs into actionable insights and recommendations Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau Perform data analysis and visualization to support leadership decision-making Conduct process modeling, workflow analysis, and business case development Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including technical staff and government personnel Support strategic planning, performance metrics tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and stakeholders Ensure alignment with contract requirements, DHA standards, and organizational objectives Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in a general business‑related field OR If no degree, a minimum of three (3) additional years of experience as a Business Analyst Experience Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst Experience supporting DoD military and/or civilian customers, preferably DHA Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and generate insights Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings to diverse stakeholders Proficiency in: Power BI and Tableau (data visualization, dashboard development, reporting) Data analysis tools and techniques Process modeling tools (e.g., Visio) Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis and solution development Strong business acumen, including understanding of: Business operations Financial principles Federal/DoD environments Ability to build relationships and effectively manage stakeholder expectations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Familiarity with healthcare systems, data, or military health operations Experience in federal contracting environments Experience developing executive‑level dashboards and data storytelling using Power BI and Tableau Work Environment Hybrid work environment (combination of on‑site and remote work) On‑site work performed in Falls Church, VA (DHA facilities) Collaboration with government personnel and distributed teams Employment Requirements Must be authorized to work in the United States #J-18808-Ljbffr
