As we continue to scale, we are launching Imperity Business Services (IBS) โ€”a dedicated division focused on delivering bookkeeping, financial reporting, and planning support to our growing base of business clients. To become the financial operating system for business owners.

Role Description We are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to help build and lead the foundation of our bookkeeping division. This is not a traditional bookkeeping role. You will work directly with leadership to: Manage firm and client financials Build scalable processes Play a key role in a high-growth initiative Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients Perform monthly reconciliations (bank, credit cards, loans, etc.) Prepare and deliver clean, accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) Execute a consistent monthly close within 7โ€“10 days Identify and correct discrepancies Ensure all accounts are reconciled and properly categorized Review financials and identify trends, issues, and opportunities Communicate insights clearly to internal team and clients Support tax planning and advisory conversations Help design and standardize workflows across clients Assist in building scalable SOPs for the bookkeeping division Implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy Work closely with: Tax team Leadership Support onboarding of new clients and integration of acquisitions This role has a clear path to Controller-level leadership as the division scales.

Qualifications Strong proficiency in Financial Statements, Bookkeeping, and accurate Journal Entries (Accounting) Extensive experience with Accounting Software and financial systems Solid knowledge of Finance principles and practices Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills Strong problem-solving abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel 3 - 5 years experience in a bookkeeping or accounting management role, with a strong track record of financial management and compliance Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a diverse team #J-18808-Ljbffr
