Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior BigQuery Developer specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role is based in India to work in CST(USA Central) timezone, offering a mix of in-office work with flexibility for remote work. The Senior BigQuery Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing BigQuery workflows, managing ETL/ELT pipelines, working closely with cross-functional teams to address data processing needs, and ensuring data solutions are scalable and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities Architect and implement data models in BigQuery for large-scale analytical workloads. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and cost control. Develop ETL/ELT pipelines integrating BigQuery with other GCP services (Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow).

Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Implement best practices for security, governance, and data quality. Monitor and troubleshoot query performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Qualifications Experience in building and optimizing database solutions, particularly using BigQuery Hands-on knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related practices Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate ideas clearly Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Certifications in GCP or BigQuery and experience with additional cloud data analytics tools are a plus
