As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance the 360T trading platform, contributing directly to Deutsche Börse Groups strategic goal of being a leading global market infrastructure provider.
You will play a key role in building scalable, high-performance systems and driving technical excellence across the platform. Your responsibilities: You design, develop, and maintain Java applications for trading platforms. You optimize system performance by maximizing CPU efficiency and network throughput to ensure low-latency trading.
You collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver scalable and robust solutions. You design and implement custom software components tailored to the needs of the trading platform. You process, store, and analyze large datasets, ensuring real-time performance and scalability.
You analyze existing systems, identify bottlenecks, and refactor components to improve performance and reliability. You participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement of code quality. You stay up to date with the latest Java technologies and proactively contribute innovative ideas to development projects.
Must-have: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java software development, ideally in high-performance, low-latency environments. Must-have: Strong expertise in optimizing CPU, memory, and network performance for scalable systems. Must-have: Experience in collecting, storing, and processing large datasets with a focus on performance and scalability.
Must-have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deconstruct systems and rebuild them more efficiently.
