This role will be a key contributor to the Adaptive CCR Replacement Program, a strategic project expected to run through 2028.

The successful candidate will partner closely with business, risk, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, define business processes, and support the implementation of new risk capabilities and regulatory requirements. This individual must be highly self-sufficient, comfortable operating with limited direction, and capable of independently driving complex deliverables from requirements through testing and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements from market risk and technology stakeholders.

• Translate business needs into detailed business requirements that can be consumed by development and implementation teams.

• Analyze existing processes, data flows, and system capabilities to identify gaps and support solution design.

• Create business requirements documents, process flows, business rules, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Develop numerical examples and data analysis to help define requirements and validate expected outcomes.

• Partner with technology teams throughout development to clarify requirements and resolve questions.

• Support SIT, UAT, and business validation activities to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.

• Review testing results and defects to confirm functionality aligns with expected outcomes.

• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and working sessions across business and technology teams.

• Maintain traceability from requirements through implementation and testing.

• Contribute to the delivery of new CCR products, metrics, and risk capabilities.

What Will Make You Successful

• You are a self-starter who can take high-level direction and independently determine how to deliver the required outcome.

• You thrive in complex environments where requirements and processes evolve over time.

• You can bridge communication between business, risk, and technology stakeholders.

• You are comfortable using data to validate assumptions and support decision-making.

• You are proactive in identifying issues, dependencies, and risks before they impact delivery.

• You possess a strong learning mindset and can quickly understand new products, processes, and risk concepts.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within Financial Services.

• Experience supporting Capital Markets, Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), or regulatory initiatives.

• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management experience.

• Experience translating complex business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.

• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to investigate data, identify trends, and support requirement definition.

• Working knowledge of market risk concepts and the lifecycle of implementing new products, metrics, or risk capabilities.

• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, scripting, prototyping, and automation.

• Ability to read, write, and modify Python scripts.

• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity with minimal oversight.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Understanding of derivatives, market risk reporting, risk methodologies, or related risk domains.

• Experience working on large-scale transformation programs.

• Exposure to testing activities including SIT, UAT, and business validation.

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
