Motive are seeking a Senior AI Software Developer to join our Iron Man project being developed using Unreal Engine 5. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of AI features and systems in an innovative and collaborative environment.

What the Senior AI Developer will do at Motive:

Implement and enhance a variety of features relating to behaviours, navigation and core systems through collaboration with other software developers, game designers and animators.

Participate in defining the architecture of foundational AI technology and associated performance targets

Collaborate with designers and content creators to brainstorm solutions that further the game’s artistic and design vision

Mentor other developers on the AI team and participate in design and code reviews

Work closely with QV and technical leadership to ensure the stability, quality and performance of AI systems

Who You Are:

B.S. (or higher) degree in Computer Science or equivalent

10+ years of professional C/C++ experience

Experience developing AI systems on AAA games with at least one shipped title

Strong teamwork skills but also the ability to take ownership and work independently

Experience using Unreal Engine 4/5 is strongly preferred

Prior leadership experience is desirable

Passion for both developing and playing games
