We are looking for an AI Engineer to join an exciting international project within a leading German automotive company.

You will play a key role in the evolution of our AI ecosystem, contributing to the migration towards an n8n-based agentic platform and developing scalable solutions powered by LLMs, automation workflows, and Azure cloud services.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade chatbots and AI assistants.
• Build and orchestrate agentic workflows using n8n and related automation technologies.
• Develop integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, and cloud-native services.
• Implement and optimize LLM and RAG solutions, including data ingestion, chunking strategies, embeddings generation, vector search, retrieval, indexing, and response quality evaluation.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver impactful AI-driven solutions.
• Monitor, optimize, and scale AI solutions in production environments.
• Contribute to architectural best practices, standardization, and reusability across AI initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• Strong software development experience with Python.
• Experience with JavaScript is considered a plus.
• Hands-on experience building chatbots, AI assistants, or conversational AI solutions.
• Proven experience implementing LLM and RAG-based applications, including vector search, embeddings, retrieval, and indexing.
• Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation platforms.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and system integrations.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience designing, deploying, and scaling production-grade AI solutions.
• Ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver impactful AI-driven products.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic AI or multi-agent architectures.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience within Microsoft-based enterprise environments.
• Exposure to ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and performance optimization of AI solutions.

Location: 100% Remote

Schedule: 40h/week. Flexible, with reduced hours on Fridays
