Summary Description

We are looking for a Senior Aeronautical Hydromechanical Systems Designer to work on the development, integration, and detailing of hydromechanical systems in civil and military aeronautical programs. The professional will be responsible for technical leading design activities, proposing robust solutions for highly complex systems, and acting as a technical reference for the team, contributing to all phases of the product development cycle, from conception to certification.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop aeronautical hydromechanical installation projects in a 3D CAD environment;

• Prepare installation layouts, integration drawings, and technical documentation;

• Develop solutions for the installation of hydraulic, environmental (AMS/ECS), fuel, propulsion, and other embedded mechanical systems;

• Specify aeronautical components, materials, piping, hoses, connections, and hardware;

• Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and engineering documentation;

• Develop integration solutions between hydromechanical systems, structures, electrical systems, and avionics;

• Perform integration, segregation, and install ability analyses of systems;

• Conduct technical analyses and support the definition of the physical architecture of hydromechanical systems;

• Support manufacturing, installation, integration, and troubleshooting activities in the field;

• Support development, qualification, and certification testing campaigns;

• Analyze technical requirements and ensure their correct implementation in the project;

• Act as a technical interface with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams;

• Prepare and review technical documentation according to internal processes and certification requirements;

• Provide technical guidance to junior and senior professionals, disseminating best practices in engineering and design;

• Contribute to the standardization, continuous improvement, and evolution of engineering processes.


Requirements

Education

• Technical course in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electromechanics or related areas.

Desirable:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics or related areas.


Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in the design of aeronautical hydromechanical systems.

• Proven experience in aircraft development, modification or certification programs.


Technical knowledge

Hydromechanical Systems Project

• Design and detailing of aeronautical hydromechanical installations;

• Hydraulic Systems;

• Environmental Systems (AMS/ECS);

• Fuel Systems;

• Propulsion Systems;

• Pneumatic Systems;

• Installation of engines, APU and their associated systems;

• Sizing and installation of rigid and flexible piping;

• Definition of supports, fixings and mechanical interfaces;

• Specification of aeronautical components, materials, piping, connections and hardware;

• Preparation of bills of materials (BOM);

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation.


Aeronautical Knowledge

• Aeronautical Product Development Process;

• Integration and segregation of systems;

• Aeronautical manufacturing and assembly process;

• Best practices for installing aeronautical systems;

• Development, qualification, and certification testing;

• Application of Service Bulletins and major modifications (STC);

• Certification process for civil and military aircraft.


Tools

Desirable experience with tools such as:

• CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE;

• Microsoft Office.

• DOORS, Polarion, or requirements management tools;

• FAR/CS 23 or 25 standards;

• ARP4754A, ARP4761, and DO-160;

• ANAC, FAA, or EASA certification processes;

• Installability, maintainability, functional safety, and multidisciplinary interface analyses.


Languages

• Advanced English for reading, interpreting, and preparing technical documentation.

• Fluent English will be considered a plus.


Availability

• National and international travel, when necessary.

• Ability to work different shifts as needed by projects.
