Make an impact with our Assurance & Accounting team as an experienced Senior Accounting Technician. Responsibilities

• Assistwith compilation, bookkeeping andpreparationof tax engagements, including corporate and personal tax filings, and other tax slips (ie. T4s/T5s/T3s,etc)
• Prepare andmaintainbookkeeping records and processes, including account reconciliations, financial record accuracy, and support fortimelyfinancial reporting and compliance.
• Identifyissues and errors, investigatediscrepanciesand discuss with managers or engagement partners to develop resolutions
• Communicate with the governmentregardinginformation requests,assessmentsand installments
• Work collaboratively with the client engagement team

Skills and Experience

• Accounting certificate or bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is considered an asset)
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting experience is required
• Experience preparing T4s and T5s and knowledge of personal and corporate tax is preferred
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes is considered an asset
• Experience working with accounting and tax software is considered an asset

The annual salary range for this opportunity is $55,000 to $70,000. Compensation is determined based on individual skills, relevant experience and certifications.

We support flexibility and are open to considering a reduced schedule for the right candidate.
