Senior Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a global, high-volume digital platform to hire a Senior Accounting Manager to support a critical area of their controllership organization. This is a high-impact leadership role with end-to-end ownership across multiple business lines, focused on driving accuracy, scalability, and modernization within a complex accounting environment. What you’ll be responsible for: Oversee month-end close and ensure accuracy of financial results, including reserves, accruals, and key estimates Provide full controllership oversight across multiple operational areas Lead, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals Partner cross-functionally with teams across finance, legal, tax, and operations to evaluate accounting implications and support business initiatives Own and enhance the internal control environment , including audit engagement and SOX compliance Drive process improvement and automation , helping modernize and scale accounting operations What they’re looking for: 10+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting foundation strongly preferred) CPA required Strong expertise in US GAAP and SOX Proven leadership experience with the ability to build and develop teams Experience operating in a large, complex, or high-growth environment Ability to navigate ambiguity, think critically, and influence stakeholders Track record of improving processes through systems, automation, or data-driven solutions ERP experience required/SAP S4 HANA Preferred Why this role: Opportunity to step into a visible, strategic leadership position Play a key role in transforming and modernizing accounting operations Partner directly with senior leadership on high-impact initiatives Join a collaborative, forward-thinking team in a fast-paced environment Additional Details & Benefits: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite; Salt Lake City also considered) Some overlap with European hours required Flexible PTO, Competitive Compensation with bonus, Billion Dollar Organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
