Senior Accounting Finance Analyst

Vantage Specialty Chemicals is seeking a Senior Accounting Finance Analyst to support local accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, and month-end close activities in Brazil.

This role will work closely with the Country Controller and will play a key role in ensuring accounting accuracy, fiscal compliance, cost analysis, and business support across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and accounting analyses.
• Manage and support local tax compliance and fiscal requirements in Brazil.
• Review expenses, cost centers, and costing processes.
• Analyze sales margins and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and other business functions to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in process improvement and internal control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting, tax, audit, or financial analysis roles.
• Strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
• English proficiency preferred.
