Senior Accountant

ProSource is proud to partner with a leading management and financial services consultancy in Tipperary. Due to ongoing growth, the firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a small to medium-sized Irish practice and be ready to contribute immediately. Audit experience is an advantage but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks
• Managing a client portfolio and fostering strong relationships
• VAT and tax reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting support
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Business advisory and tax planning services
• Responding to ad-hoc client needs
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience in an Irish practice (essential)
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• High attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and cloud-based accounting software
