Nous recherchons un comptable expérimenté pour tenir les comptes de nos 2 entités françaises, en collaboration avec le comptable actuel.

Les responsabilités incluent le reporting mensuel, la TVA, les états financiers statutaires ainsi que la gestion de l’audit statutaire.

Vous serez le contact premier pour les sujets comptables et les différences entre les normes comptables françaises et les néerlandaises.

Ce poste reporte au Retail Controller base à Amsterdam ou le reste de l’équipe Finance est basée. Un séjour d’une semaine chaque mois à Amsterdam est à prévoir pour la clôture.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Accountant, responsible for managing the accounting processes for our 2 French entities (reporting, VAT, statutory financial statements, etc.). In this position, you will play a key role in the accounting issues the company faces under French GAAP and Dutch GAAP.

In this role you will report to the Retail Controller based in Amsterdam.

This position is able to be either located in the Paris or Amsterdam office.

LES RESPONSIBILITIES PRINCIPALES:

• Réaliser l’enregistrement des écritures comptables tous les mois, incluant la banque et la paie;
• Justifier, analyser et clôturer les comptes dans le respect d’un calendrier rigoureux. S’assurer de l’exhaustivité et de l’image fidèle des comptes;
• Effectuer des revues analytiques régulières des comptes et des réconciliations;
• Etablir le suivi des différences entre les normes comptables françaises et néerlandaises;
• Constituer un dossier annuel de révision des comptes soumis à l'approbation des auditeurs externes (Commissaires aux comptes);
• Soumettre les déclarations TVA, impôt sur les sociétés, etc.;
• Revoir les paiements hebdomadaires en collaboration avec l’équipe Payables;
• Effectuer les contrôles internes, en ligne avec les prérequis SOX;
• Collaborer avec d’autres équipes dans l’ouverture ou fermetures de magasins;
• Contribuer proactivement à améliorer les procédures existantes;
  
  
  

LE PROFIL:

• 5 ans + d’expérience en Comptabilité; de l’expérience dans le secteur du commerce de détail est un plus;
• Bilingue en français et anglais (la langue de travail est l’anglais);
• Communication maitrisée pour interagir a tous niveaux de management ;
• Diplôme en Gestion/Comptabilité
• Connaissance informatique d’ERP et expert en Excel
• Capacite à travailler sous pression et contraintes de temps, dans un environnement changeant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Full bookkeeping activities plus complete trial balance ownership of the 2 French entities (mix of full price stores, outlets and concession);
• Monthly reporting and variance analysis;
• Reconciliation of accounts and maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules, in both French and Dutch GAAP;
• Maintenance of the reporting calendar to ensure timely and accurate reporting for VAT, social taxes, CIT and liaise with key stakeholders;
• Payroll and bank bookings;
• Review weekly payments in collaboration with AP team;
• Preparation of interim and yearly external audits of the entities;
• Assist in the inventory processes and reconciliation;
• Prepare documentation for Internal Controls, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements;
• Provide support in the process related to opening of new stores;
• Pro-active contribution to the current optimization of the accounting processes;
• Support and ad-hoc analyses and projects initiated within the Finance team
  
  
  

THE PROFILE

• 5 years + of experience in Accounting; experience in the retail sector is a plus;
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective interfacing with key stakeholders in both French and English;
• University degree in Business Administration/Accounting;
• System knowledge, experience in ERP systems and proficient in Excel
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines;
• Proactive, flexible and hands-on attitude; and fluent in the French language OR native speaker
• Ability to adapt and work in a consistently changing environment and among different management levels of the organization;
