About Us
Wright Freeman Logistics is a growing transportation and logistics company operating throughout Canada and the United States.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of our accounting department and help build the financial structure required to support our continued growth.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility, improving processes, and operating with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle accounting
- Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Payroll administration
- GST/QST filings
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end preparation
- Financial statement preparation
- Cash flow management and reporting
- Multi-currency accounting
- QuickBooks management
- Process improvement and SOP creation
- Financial reporting and analysis
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Full-cycle accounting experience
- Strong QuickBooks knowledge
- Payroll experience
- Strong organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
Assets
- Transportation or logistics industry experience
- Multi-currency accounting experience
- Experience building accounting systems and processes
