Senior Account Manager (Direct Mail), Manchester

Overview

Senior Account Manager at HH Global leads client delivery and strategic account direction for a major Retail client. You balance short-term operational needs with long-term growth plans, guiding a small team and coordinating with suppliers to meet financial targets. • Lead client satisfaction through liaison with the client team, internal resources, and suppliers
• Own issue resolution, quality concerns and corrective actions to drive outstanding results
• Develop and monitor team performance via appraisals, mentoring and training
• Create account growth strategies, manage opportunities, and oversee financial performance and development plans
• Provide competitor insights and leverage internal and supplier data to inform decisions
• Collaborate with Account Director to introduce new services and cost-saving initiatives
• Provide technical input on projects to uphold high quality standards
• Prepare regular MI reporting, client relationship plans, and risk management
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and conduct contract reviews and renewals

• Advanced client service management experience across multiple vendors/sites
• Experience with Door Drop and Door to Door services and related commercial considerations
• Understanding of Royal Mail/distribution rates and cost-saving opportunities
• Opportunity for progression from Senior Account Management or experienced Account Manager
• Strong negotiation and consensus-building skills with internal stakeholders
• Proven track record in account planning, KPI setting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic leadership
• Proven operational management for client services departments with P&L/budget reporting
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) to influence senior stakeholders
