Semiconductor Engineer | £40,000 - £60,000 | Hybrid | Leicestershire Are you a Semiconductor Engineer or Electronics Engineer with a background in analogue or power electronics looking to move into a more customer-facing role? This is an opportunity to join a global semiconductor business specialising in analogue power management ICs, supporting customers with real-world design challenges while developing your technical and commercial expertise. What's on offer? ✔ £40,000 - £60,000 salary (depending on experience) ✔ Hybrid working – typically 3 days onsite / 2 days remote ✔ Company benefits package ✔ Exposure to international customers and projects ✔ Long-term career development within a global semiconductor organisation ✔ Occasional UK and European travel (approximately 10%) What you'll be doing Providing technical support and application guidance on analogue power management products Supporting customers with design optimisation, troubleshooting and component selection Working closely with distributors, sales teams and engineering colleagues across the business Delivering technical presentations, demonstrations and training Contributing to application notes, reference designs and technical documentation Helping customers improve efficiency, thermal performance and overall system reliability What we're looking for Ideally Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar Experience with analogue or power electronics, such as DC/DC converters, LDOs, voltage regulation or power supply design Ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, evaluation boards and reference designs Understanding of PCB layout principles and component selection Strong communication skills and an interest in customer-facing engineering This role would suit a Semiconductor Engineer, Electronics Design Engineer, Power Electronics Engineer, Applications Engineer, Hardware Engineer or Electronics Engineer looking to broaden their career within the semiconductor industry.
