Security Officer (OFA) - High Profile Office Tower

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSecuriguard is looking for professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our team at a high-profile office tower in Vancouver.This is an excellent opportunity for security professionals who take pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. Working closely with the site security team and building management, you will support daily security operations through proactive patrols, first aid response, access control, and professional customer service.The Day-to-DayYour responsibilities may include:Conducting regular interior and exterior patrols of the property.Responding to first aid, medical, security, and emergency incidents.Providing OFA response, including first aid, CPR, and AED assistance when required.Responding to access requests and ensuring site procedures are followed.Identifying and reporting security, safety, and building-related deficiencies.Completing accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.Assisting with emergency response procedures and communicating with emergency services when required.Maintaining a professional and visible security presence throughout the property.Providing excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and building staff.Supporting the site security team with other operational duties as required.What You BringValid BC Security Worker License.Occupational First Aid Level 2 (OFA 2) or higher.Previous security experience; experience in a commercial, office tower, or similar environment is an asset.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective during emergencies or high-pressure situations.Experience with CCTV, access control, radios, and other security systems is preferred.Strong report-writing and documentation skills.Basic to intermediate computer skills.Professional appearance and a strong sense of accountability.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.Full-time availability with flexibility to work varying shifts.Who We AreAt Securiguard, we believe in living and acting by our values: R.E.A.C.H.Respect · Empathy · Accountability · Courtesy · HonestyWe're in the business of making people feel safe.
