Job Title Security Engineer/Tester Location Seattle, WA Job Responsibilities Perform authorized security testing on complex enterprise applications to identify vulnerabilities early in the development cycle. Collaborate closely with development teams to understand security issues and facilitate effective remediation strategies. Work as a liaison between the InfoSec team and developers, translating technical findings into understandable insights for leadership and management.
Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement of security measures. Utilize a variety of security testing tools and techniques, including manual and automated testing, to evaluate application security posture. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in software development or testing within large‑scale enterprise environments.
Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies, especially in security contexts. Deep understanding of web application technologies, protocols (HTTP, HTTPS), and browser behaviors. Knowledge of application security domains such as authentication, authorization, identity management, and cryptography.
Experience with security testing tools like Fiddler, Burp Suite, static code analysis tools, and familiarity with OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, CWE vulnerabilities.
