Security Analyst 2

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Analyst 2 to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Fingerprinting NRO personnel and collecting and inputting biographical data * Uploading and submitting fingerprints into the system of record * Taking the initiative, conducting work-arounds when needed, and making necessary decisions to ensure progress is made reach goals * Using multiple NRO, DOD, and IC databases including, but not limited to SCT, DISS, Scattered Castles, etc * Maintaining confidentiality of assets and information pertaining to personnel security * Supporting all security analysis tasks that contribute to the processing, issuance, or revocation of personnel security clearances, as well as additional tasks as required * Domestic Travel and OCONUS up to 25% Minimum Qualifications: * Associate degree and 1 or more years of relevant security experience or High School/GED and 4 or more years of relevant security experience * Ability to learn various databases to support security analysis tasks * Prioritize competing tasks and possess effective time management skills * Experience in personnel security processing related to background investigations and/or security access determinations in adjudications consistent with Security Executive Agent Directive (SEAD 4) and EO 12968 guidelines Preferred Qualifications: * Exceptional customer skills * Demonstrated ability to problem solve and develop and create innovative solutions * Ability to complete customer requests on deadline with short suspense times and competing/shifting priorities Security Requirements: * Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph Physical Requirements: * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% * Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. * Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations * Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
