RESPONSIBILITIES OF A PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF AQUATICS: Supervise and oversee aquatics staff and all operations of the aquatics department. Develop and implement innovative approaches to promoting aquatics programs and pool usage.
Maintain lifeguard certification level of readiness at all times. *This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS TO BE A PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF AQUATICS : Minimum age of 21.
A passion for aquatics and aquatics safety. YMCA Team Leader Certification preferred. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of four years working as a lifeguard, swim instructor, water fitness instructor or swim coach.
