Scrum Master

Job Tittle: Scrum Master Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid) Overview We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery teams and drive successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile methodologies, strong facilitation skills, and the ability to work across multiple cross-functional and extended teams. Required Skills: Experience with Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, or similar Proficient in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word Responsibilities: Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum and/or Kanban principles Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices and continuous improvement Manage and track Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint progress Remove impediments and help teams maintain focus on sprint goals Coordinate dependencies and communication across multiple teams and stakeholders Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and user story development Blend Agile and traditional project management approaches as needed to meet project objectives Qualifications: 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments Strong understanding of SDLC models and experience with both Agile and traditional project management methodologies Proven track record of successfully delivering projects using Agile frameworks Agile certification required (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
