Scientist 1 – Cell Line Development Operations (Entry Level) Kelly® at Johnson & Johnson (Location) | $37/hr | 1-Year Contract | Full-Time Are you passionate about ensuring operational excellence in the lab and eager to grow your career in cell and molecular biology? Kelly®, in partnership with Johnson & Johnson, is hiring for the Innovative Medicine Cell Line Development team at Janssen R&D! What You’ll Do: CapEx Management : Oversee lab equipment lifecycle—from wishlist to purchase, install, and track in Maximo.

Handle service contracts and maintenance, and keep budgets on target. Lab Services & Operations : Manage lab consumables and inventory, coordinate calibrations and cleanouts, and represent the lab in meetings. Vendor & Scientific Support : Escalate and resolve lab issues, coordinate work orders, and support equipment demos, environmental monitoring, and safety training.

IT & Lab Systems : Partner with IT for equipment integration, data integrity, automation engineering, and system connectivity (Empower, ELN). Media-Buffer Lab Support : Manage Compose & Capture lot tracking, buffer/media ordering, and vendor coordination. Project/Facilities Oversight : Support major business/facility projects, and coordinate equipment installations, moves, and certifications.

Collaborate : Work closely with teams internal and external What You Bring: Required : Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related field Experience with aseptic technique Great communicator, highly organized, strong attention to detail Preferred : Hands-on with mammalian cell culture Familiarity with Maximo or similar asset databases Experience in lab operations or project management Bonus : Eager to learn and take on new technical systems Comfortable supporting diverse lab, IT, and facilities initiatives Ready to launch your science career with a world-class organization?
