Scientific Manager

Responsibilities– ·Ensure efficient delivery of compounds through scientific guidance to team: oProvide scientific guidance to team members and troubleshoot for efficient delivery of projects oIdentify, evaluate and design synthetic route and reaction parameters oGuide the team on process optimization & development and yield improvement resulting in cost effective solutions and execution oMonitor project progress to ensure adherence to quality standards/ timelines oGuide the team on the usage of advanced analytical techniques oMake weekly and final project reports oExamine and sign lab note books and data cards of the team ·Build client relationship by delivering a superior client experience : oUnderstand client requirements and regularly communicate with the client to manage expectations oProvide periodic project updates on productivity and quality to the client oTake appropriate action on client’s feedback ·Ensure safety at work through enforcement of good laboratory practices: oEnsure compliance and train the team members for safety protocols oIdentify and mitigate potential safety risks oGuide and train team on usage of equipment/apparatus/instruments as per SOPs and general housekeeping norms ·Maintain records, data integrity and IP confidentiality: oTrain team on LNB documentation, Data and IP Confidentiality as per norms oEnsure accuracy of LNB records updated by team and audit based on client requirement oImplement data confidentiality through adequate controls ·Ensure high morale and skill development of self and team: oTrain & develop team members through knowledge sharing sessions and nominate for training programs oRegularly review performance of the team oAssess readiness of employees for project allocation oRecognize best performers through various reward & recognition programs
