Job Description
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide services across multiple settings in Northern Virginia, approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, DC. This contract opportunity requires on-site work and offers a unique caseload serving elementary-aged students in school, home, and private day school environments. Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy to a 4th-grade student in their home.
Provide therapy services to a 2nd-grade student within a school setting. Potentially support two students at a private day school in Manassas temporarily. Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and school district regulations. Qualifications: Active Virginia License in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience working in school settings preferred.
Ability to begin credentialing processes immediately, including Virginia Department of Social Services background check and tuberculosis testing. Strong communication skills and flexibility to work across different locations. Availability to participate in an internal eligibility interview during specified times.
Details: Location: Northern Virginia, close to Alexandria, VA. Schedule: Part-time, 10-15 hours per week. Contract Period: Immediate start through May 29, 2026.
