We are currently seeking an SAP WM | MM Functional Analyst to join our SAP Team. The SAP WM Functional Analyst (Warehouse Management Support) is responsible for the functional support and day‑to‑day maintenance of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and related Materials Management (MM) processes. This role supports warehouse and logistics operations by resolving incidents, assisting with enhancements, and ensuring stable system performance across receiving, shipping, inventory, and purchasing functions.
This position maintains strong functional ownership of SAP WM, while operating in a support- oriented model under the guidance of senior analysts and project teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execution Actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live activities for all projects. Participate as a leading contributor within the area of expertise of assigned SAP modules.
Support SAP WM and MM enhancements by assisting with requirements clarification and functional testing. Participate in project activities such as testing, documentation, and post‑deployment support. Assist with integrations related to shipping carriers and third‑party warehouse applications.
Act as the lead in mobile device processes and RF transaction functionality within warehouse operations. Assist with SAP settings supporting an efficient physical inventory process. Testing, Support & Analysis Provide functional support and troubleshooting for SAP WM and MM production issues.
Analyze issues and perform root cause analysis with guidance from manager. Execute unit, integration, and regression testing for system fixes and enhancements. Support configuration changes to SAP WM/MM to meet evolving business needs.
Monitor ticketing systems and ensure timely resolution or escalation of issues. Partner with warehouse users, supervisors, and supply chain teams to support SAP WM functionality. Work closely with senior SAP team members, ABAP developers, and external vendors to resolve issues.
Participate in system refreshes and testing activities in DEV and QAS environments. Communicate effectively with IT partners regarding incidents, enhancements, and system behavior. Requirements and Qualifications Experience Three (3) to five (5) years of experience supporting SAP WM in a production environment. Supporting SAP WM in an ECC production environment, including incident resolution and enhancement support. Hands on experience executing unit, integration, and regression testing for SAP changes and releases.
Supporting RF/mobile transactions and warehouse execution processes (receiving, picking, put‑away, shipping). Working within a ticket based SAP support model (incident, problem, and change management). Knowledge Working knowledge of SAP WM/MM configuration concepts and knowledge of SAP MM and its integration with WM.
Understanding of warehouse and logistics business processes. Familiarity with SAP incident and change management processes. Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Ability to translate business issues into functional SAP impacts and clearly communicate solutions to non-technical users. Demonstrated ability to analyze SAP WM/MM issues, identify root causes, and recommend functional solutions under guidance. Ability to create and maintain functional documentation, including test scripts and support documentation.
Possess a customer‑first mindset. Must possess the ability to follow best practices regarding documentation, and unit testing. Strong teamwork approach to problem‑solving with the ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.
Able to provide support, communication, and direction. Confidently and efficiently handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues, in a fast‑paced work environment. Eagerness to learn and grow into more advanced SAP WM responsibilities.
Ability to contribute to the development of new processes, as well as effectively identify, analyze, and assist in the resolution of highly complex technical issues. Self‑motivated and has the ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly. Technology Strong proficiency with SAP WM/MM Solid knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
Familiar with: Corporate credit card expense management software, BILL Spend & Expense preferred. Excels in proficiently learning new software with ease. Other As business needs warrant: Domestic travel, up to 10%.
Ability to work extended hours, may on occasion include evenings and weekends. Washington State Pay Transparency Act The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 to $115,000. The target compensation range and the actual salary are determined by several factors, including specific skills, competencies, years of experience, geographic location, and education, as outlined in the job description.
