SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Engineer (Korean Bilingual)

Company Description Salary: $85K - $120K DOE Korean Bilingual Required We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Engineer to lead a U.S.-based retail and production ERP transformation program. This role owns end-to-end delivery governance, scope/change control, and integrated planning aligned to SAP Activate. A key focus of this role is managing the complexities of integrating retail operations with production sites, ensuring seamless execution across manufacturing, supply chain, and customer-facing workstreams.

Job Description Program Governance: Establish and operate the governance framework (Steering Committee, RAID, Decision Logs). Ensure reporting structures capture both retail and production-level KPIs. - Scope & Change Control: Maintain strict Phase 1 scope boundaries. Manage Change Requests (CR) with a specific focus on the impact of manufacturing process changes on the global template. - Integrated Planning (SAP Activate): Manage the Master Schedule (Prepare-Explore-Realize-Deploy).

Proactively address bottlenecks in production site readiness and resource availability. - Production & Retail Integration: Oversee the alignment between manufacturing/production sites and retail distribution. Ensure that production planning (PP), inventory valuation, and supply chain workstreams are synchronized. - Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate SI partners and third-party vendors (POS, WMS, Factory Automation/MES, etc.). Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria. - Testing & Cutover Leadership: Lead SIT/UAT planning and defect triage.

Develop a comprehensive Cutover Runbook that accounts for production downtime and inventory transition at manufacturing sites. - Adoption & Change Management: Enforce "Fit-to-Standard" principles. Establish data ownership guidelines to transition production sites from legacy/manual processes to standardized SAP Cloud workflows. - Commercial Management: Manage contract milestones, SOWs, and the commercial impact of scope changes for the Prime contract. Qualifications Required Qualifications [General & Education] - Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. (Master's or MBA preferred). - Language: Business-level fluency in English is mandatory. ( Professional proficiency in Korean is a significant plus for global coordination ). [Engineering & Technical Expertise] - Technical Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical or functional consulting experience in SAP environments, with a proven ability to lead technical delivery and system architecture. - Retail Engineering Expertise: Technical proficiency in designing and implementing Retail-specific solutions, including Omnichannel flows, Point of Sale (POS) integration, eCommerce data synchronization, and retail inventory management. - Production Site Engineering: Hands-on experience with technical deployments at manufacturing/production sites, ensuring seamless integration between shop floor operations (PP/MES) and the core ERP system. - Technical Architecture & Clean Core: Expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition constraints and "Clean Core" principles, utilizing side-by-side extensibility and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). - Integration Engineering: Extensive experience in building and managing technical interfaces with external systems such as eCommerce platforms, POS systems, WMS, Tax engines (e.g., Vertex), and 3PL providers using APIs, OData, and Middleware solutions. - End-to-End Data Integrity: Ability to technically oversee complex data migration and ensure data consistency across the entire supply chain-from production facilities to retail distribution channels.

Preferred Qualifications - Retail & Manufacturing Domain: Understanding of omnichannel retail coupled with production processes (Order-to-Cash, Make-to-Stock/Order, Replenishment, Intercompany STO). - Technical Strategy: Experience with BTP (Business Technology Platform) for side-by-side extensions in a production context. - Data & Reporting: Deep understanding of inventory valuation, production costing, and master data governance (BOM, Routing, Material Master). - Certification: PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAP Activate certifications Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
